QORT digest for the first quarter of 2019

Dear users of ARQA Technologies software products, we offer to your attention the digest of the main features introduced in solutions based on the QORT software platform in the 1st quarter of 2019.
15th annual seminar of ARQA Technologies took place in Moscow
On 21 February 2019 an annual seminar of ARQA Technologies took place in Moscow. About 350 representatives of ARQA Technologies clients from 102 companies attended the event.
Among the representatives of Russian and foreign partners of ARQA there were: Interfax, Moscow Exchange, MFD-Infocenter, NAUFOR, Saint-Petersburg Exchange, SPIMEX, Bloomberg, CBOE, Cbonds, DataSpace, FIS, IXcellerate, QuantHouse, Refinitive.
The substantive part of the seminar was given to the following QORT product presentations:

New backQORT module — External reports request module
In the 1st quarter of 2019 ARQA Technologies released a new backQORT module which expands possibilities for software development to generate reports and upload them to the system — External reports request module.
The Module allows invoking external applications from the backQORT terminal to generate missing reports in the system. These reports are available in the QORT terminal in tables or in files opened by Windows applications.

When creating the ‘All trades’ table, it is now possible to select several trades separating them with a comma. |
It has become possible to terminate the agreement in the system even when records related to previous trading days are not allowed to edit. The agreement termination date is a current trading day. |
Information about settlement currency now can be downloaded via IDB. |
To reduce load on the SQL server and volume of IDB there is an option that excludes data export on corrections from the main data base to IDB. |
Pool orders
New functionality |
It has become possible to resend a pool order by subaccount in case of its cancelation or partial execution. This order is generated for unfilled balance with ID of the previously sent order. |
A simultaneous manual or scheduled choice of the ‘Canceled’ status is possible without additional filtering for all pool orders unexecuted during the trading session. |
An option was added to manually specify total ACI for a pool order with further distribution in portfolios. This functionality can be used to forward orders to Bloomberg when ACI is calculated by own Bloomberg algorithms. |
Portfolio rebalancing mechanism

In case of OTC trade forwarding a trading venue section can be chosen if the portfolio rebalancing mechanism is used. |
Automation and group operations
New functionality |
In case when orders are sent to different trading venues from one and the same subaccount, the system is able to place payment and delivery accounts in elementary orders. capQORT enables such placement based on the trading venue section specified in the pool order from preset linkages of payment/delivery accounts for each subaccount. |

An option is available to import from Ru Data the information about duration based on the current day quotes. This allows setting control limits for changes in duration of securities in a portfolio. |
Limit control
New functionality |
To control limits it has become possible to set a period before redemption or offer both from the current trading day and security emission date. |
There is an additional option to define users, who are allowed to execute trades resulting in limit violations, but only in specified periods of time. |
