SPIMEX Derivatives Market trading interface

The SPIMEX Derivatives Market interface enables connection between QUIK and the gateway of the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) derivatives market section. The main types of instruments traded at the market are deliverable futures for petroleum products.

Module Functions

  • access to information about trading, order queues for each instrument, orders and transactions, status of clients’ positions,
  • calculation of the current variation margin by client positions,
  • forwarding and cancelling exchange (market and limit) and negotiated orders.

The SPIMEX Derivatives Market interface provides neither calculation nor monitoring of client position adequacy. For this reason, the SDCO clearing system information interface is required to provide clients with trading access to the market.

The SPIMEX gateway is to be installed on the same computer with the QUIK server. It is connected to the Trading system via TCP/IP.
