Market Data Interface of TREP RT system (Thomson Reuters)

The Interface of TREP RT system (Thomson Reuters) delivers market data from Thomson Reuters. It is built on the TREP RT infrastructure (Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform for RT — RMDS 64-bit version).

Module Functions

  • The interface based on TREP RT infrastructure delivers market data from Bats Europe (BATS, Chi-X), CBOE, CME Group (CBOT, CME, COMEX, NYMEX), Eurex, Euronext, HKEX, ICE Futures Europe (ex-LIFFE), ICE Futures US, LSE, LSE Derivatives Market (ex-EDX), NASDAQ, NSE, NYSE American (ex-AMEX), TMX Group (Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange), SGX, WSE, XETRA as well as order queues for each instrument.
  • Various depths of Level I and Level II quotes are available.

Trading is viewed in standard tables on user terminal screens of QUIK where additional instrument classes are displayed. The Interface is used for information only and may not be used to forward transactions.

In order to deliver quotes the information agency provides QUIK server with technological authorized access to the TREP RT. The Interface connects to TREP RT, asks for data on instruments selected from available ones and sends them to the QUIK server.

If it is necessary to engage in trading it is possible to integrate the TREP RT (Thomson Reuters) interface with FIX order router for routing orders to the trading platform of an execution broker.
