Import/Export of Information

The QUIK Software Platform provides a possibility for exporting/importing information by means of standard tools and additional QUIK modules.

The QUIK workstation provides standard tools for exporting data into MS Excel via DDE for setting custom algorithms, as well as tools for dynamic export of data on trades and quotes into professional applications for technical analysis, AmiBroker and Wealth-Lab Developer.

There are some applications for the QUIK server that meet more challenging tasks of automated data export:

• Market Data Export Module is designed to export online data from the QUIK server into a database via ODBC.
• Level2 Quotes Export Module provides dynamic export of order queues for specific instruments into a database.

The QUIK Software Package also supports import of transactions from other programs via API or using a text file. This facilitates integration of the QUIK workstation with various applications, such as risk management systems, or automatic trading systems (‘trading robots’).
