Security
The QORT platform ensures integrity and confidentiality of transferred data by using a secure connection between the application server, client's workstation and server components.
User access to the system is regulated by using two main authentication technologies: access key authentication (a unique pair of keys is generated for each user) or Active Directory domain authentication.
Also, the two-factor authentication is possible with the following mechanisms used as the second factor:
- RSA SecurID®
- A PIN code received via text message
- Active Directory authentication (in addition to access keys)
Data viewing and editing in QORT is limited by rights given to users at the stage of registration in the system. This allows prompt registration of new users from various departments and choice of preset roles with limited rights.
