SMVB-IT participating in the first international trade show and conference TradeTech Russia 2008

SMVB Information Technologies was a participant in the first international exhibition and conference TradeTech Russia 2008 held 28-29 May, 2008 in Moscow. 

It was the first time that WBR, a UK-based organizer of international trade shows and conferences dedicated to the current trends in the development of financial technologies and stock and derivatives market infrastructure, held this sort of exhibition and conference in Moscow. SMVB-IT participated in the event as an exhibitor.

The number of participants included major exchanges (MICEX, RTS, Deutsche Boerse), brokers (UBS, CITI, Dresdner Kleinwort, Renaissance Online, Otkritie, KIT Finance), technological networks and companies (Fidessa, GL Trade, BT, ITAbsolute, Thomson Reuters, Linedata Services) and others. Representatives of numerous Russian and international brokers and management companies attended the show and the conference.

SMVB-IT introduced to the participants of the exhibition a DMA system QUIK that allows for connecting international brokers to the trading process on Russian exchanges directly or through the integration with any interbroker platform or front-office system of a Russian broker. Questions of a similar integration allowing access of Russian brokers and their clients to international exchanges were a subject of intensive discussion. Visitors to the booth of SMVB-IT showed a great interest in matters of transferring quotes and news from international markets through QUIK user terminals.
