One of the most high-performance algorithms in Russia operates on the facilities of ARQA Technologies data center in Moscow

Almost 2 years ago, on the premises of the Technical Center of ARQA Technologies in Moscow, the standard set of the QUIK software package was located and connected to trading at the Moscow Exchange MICEX-RTS by one of the company’s clients.

The Technical Center in Moscow provides the operation of QUIK system on an outsourcing mode as well as hosting of different QUIK program modules and QUIK backup complexes. The connection to the trading systems of the Moscow Exchange MICEX-RTS is organized via dedicated communication channels. Apart from the access to the trading systems of the Moscow Exchange and other Russian marketplaces, the Technical Center provides the developed infrastructure on access to Ukrainian exchanges and SunGard Global Network in Moscow.

According to the latest data about working of this server, the client, using QUIK Workstation and its standard interfaces for integration with external applications as well as full-functional inbuilt pre-trade control of the QUIK server, carries about 15 million transactions per day at the Stock Market of the Moscow Exchange MICEX-RTS (Sector ’Main market’). At the same time the average speed is 450 and the peak speed is up to 800 transactions per second, and the average transactional latency for ‘door-to-door’ roundtrip in the data center is under 5.6 ms.
