ARQA Technologies at international conference and exhibition IFINTEC Finance Technologies 2015

ARQA Technologies participated with an exhibition stand and delivered a presentation at the conference part of IFINTEC Finance Technologies that was held on April, 14-16 this year in Istanbul (Turkey).

The event has become a customary place to showcase new technological solutions for financial institutions in the fields of systems, hardware and software as well as consulting, financial audit, IT outsourcing, education and other services.

ARQA Technologies presented to the conference participants its QUIK system that may be used as a fully functional EMS or employed as a risk system with highly developed functionality of pre-trade control of operations.

It was the latter application of the system –the trading risk management (RISQ solutions) that was the focus of the report ‘Connectivity, integration and risk solutions’ delivered by the deputy director on international projects Roman Anokhin. From the standpoint of ARQA Technologies the risk management of trading operations is much more than business control and protection as it allows creating profitable new services that may be extended to end clients. To achieve those ends the risk management systems need to be able to process various instruments in various currencies at multiple trading venues, keep position online, do pre- and post-trade control of operations while applying different risk control models and be easy to install in any currently available broker infrastructure. Variants of implementing such systems were illustrated with actual business cases from the company’s experience.
