WSE trading interface

WSE Trading interface* is used to connect the QUIK broker system to the trading platform of Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE).

This interface is connected to the UTP (Universal Trading Platform) of WSE via UTP and BINARY protocols.

Module Functions

  • Getting Market Data, instruments’ directory, all trades from the trading system.
  • Access to trade at the WSE the following instruments: shares, options, futures, warrants, exchange indices, bonds.
  • Forwarding orders of all types (ordinary limited, ordinary market, Iceberg, market-to-limit and Cross-orders).
  • Order cancellation.
The interface is installed on the broker’s computer connected to the QUIK server via TCP/IP. It is admissible to install the software on the same computer with the QUIK server.
Connection to WSE trading system is done on the basis of TCP/IP using BINARY protocol — for transaction routing and on the basis of UDP and TCP/IP using UTP protocol — for market data.

The indicated hardware and software requirements are minimal. With ample resources the interfaces may be installed on the same PC as the QUIK server. Any arising questions may be addressed to the QUIK Technical Support.
