18th annual seminar of ARQA Technologies took place in Moscow

On 17 February 2022 an annual seminar of ARQA Technologies took place in Moscow. More than 300 participants from 90 companies – clients and partners — attended the seminar.

The first part of the seminar was traditionally given to presentations of ARQA Technologies specialists. The seminar participants presented reports on development topics related to QUIK software, middle-office of an asset management company capQORT, and cases of practical application of QUIK OMS. The audience made a great response to the presentation which reflects the view of ARQA Technologies in relation to the planned transition to the trading 24/7, and a session of answers and questions received from the seminar participants during the day.

As part of the event, three round tables were held.

The first round table focused on a new financial instrument expected to appear on the market – stock options. Its participants included representatives of the brokerage community (Otkritie, Tinkoff, Finam) and two leading Russian exchanges (Moscow Exchange and SPB Exchange).

At the second round table, the Moscow Exchange (Igor Marich) and the SPB Exchange (Roman Goryunov) spoke about their latest projects and future plans.

The third round table focused on challenges which await the Russian brokerage business in the nearest future. The participants of the panel discussion were persons famous in the financial industry who have been participating as experts in the seminar of ARQA Technologies for a number of years: Roman Lokhov (Sinara Financial Corporation), Vladimir Potapov (VTB), Grigoriy Sedov (Sberbank), Mikhail Sukhobok (Raiffeisenbank), Alexey Timofeev (NAUFOR), and Oleg Chikhladze (BCS).

Also, the seminar hosted an exhibition where the company’s partners — Сbonds, DataSpace, FIS Global, Interfax, IRESS, Refinitiv, and SPB Exchange — introduced their products and services.
