ARQA Technologies in webinar on marking of complex financial instruments

On 22 September 2021, ARQA Technologies, Moscow Exchange, and Interfax held a joint webinar for professional market participants with a discussion of methodological and technical issues of the marking of complex financial instruments.

More than 250 representatives of banks and brokerages took part in the webinar.

The event was organized as part of preparations for implementation of a mechanism on the Russian Securities market to test unqualified investors. In accordance with regulatory requirements, starting from 1 October 2021, all professional participants of the Securities market are obliged to perform such testing and reduce client access depending on the results of the testing. The service to mark complex financial instruments launched by the Moscow Exchange together with Interfax is an important component for the implementation of new operating rules.

During the webinar, ARQA Technologies, for their part, made a presentation of improvements in the front-office platform QUIK which were made to support the launch of this project. Representatives of the software company also answered numerous questions about whether the QUIK terminal, one of the most commonly used trading terminal on the Russian financial market, is ready for regulatory innovations.
