Multi-broker service module

The Multi-broker service module makes it possible to send orders of different brokers to exchange trading systems from the same QUIK server and for the same class of instruments.

Module Functions

  • Support of the work with several trading systems’ gateways that have different ID of trade participants for the same class of instruments,
  • Order routing to different gateways depending on specified trade participants,
  • Connection to the trading systems gateways via the Q2Q service.

Usage Examples

  1. Example 1
One QUIK server can be used by several trade participants – members of one holding company or a group of companies. In this case, the trading systems’ gateways are connected to the QUIK server via the Multi-broker service module. On the QUIK server in the user rights settings, the ID of the trade participant is specified on whose behalf the orders are sent. Thus, one part of users can trade via one broker, another part via another broker and etc. This includes centralized QUIK server administration, loading of initial position and limits, and the server monitoring.
  1. Example 2
Simultaneous connection to the exchange trading system is possible both directly and via the server of another broker (subbroker scheme) by using the Q2Q Service. Such scheme may be useful for a number of the broker’s clients. For instance, when a broker-partner offers beneficial conditions for margin lending. At the same time, another part of clients on the same market can be serviced by the broker directly, with fewer overhead costs.
