Access server

The Access server is a QUIK module which is used to reduce load on the principal system server while servicing numerous users.

Module Functions and Operating Principle

The module is used for horizontal scaling of the QUIK system to service a large number of connected users. The recommended number of concurrent connections to one access server is up to 500.

The access server is connected to the principal QUIK server via the TCP/IP protocol getting from the latter the information that is later distributed to users in accordance with their rights. As the bulk of information delivered to users overlaps, the server significantly reduces load on the principal system server.

Connection Scheme

The user is connected to the access server in the same way as to the principal QUIK server with the only difference being in parameters of the IP-address and port numeration in the connection settings.
The access server works with standard QUIK workstations, iQUIK X and QUIK Android X mobile applications as well as FIX program interfaces and the Market Data Export module.
