Bloomberg B-PIPE market data interface

The Bloomberg B-PIPE market data interface* delivers market data from the Bloomberg agency with the use of the Bloomberg Market Data Feed (B-PIPE) service.

* certified by Bloomberg, MiFID II compliant

Module Functions

  • The interface transmits the following data from the B-PIPE service to the QUIK server: Level I and Level II quotes, index parameters from CBOE US, LSE, NASDAQ, NYSE and XETRA, market parameters for futures of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group), ‘Time and Sales’ information for all transactions, EMRS Bloomberg market data on Eurobonds aggregated from several trading venues.

To deliver quotes, Bloomberg provides the QUIK server with technological authorized access to the Bloomberg Market Data Feed (B-PIPE) service.

The interface connects to B-PIPE, requests the data on required instruments, and transmits the data to the QUIK server to display it on QUIK terminals in standard tables by separate instrument classes.

The interface is used for information only and does not allow forwarding trading transactions.

When it is necessary to support trading with transmitted quotes, the Bloomberg B-PIPE market data interface can be integrated with FIX order router for routing orders to the execution Broker’s trading platform. This integration is performed by ARQA Technologies specialists.

To get data access, please conclude an agreement with the provider. For consultations contact the representative of Bloomberg:
