APA reporting module

The APA reporting module serves for sending obligatory reports on OTC trades* in accordance with MiFID II requirements.

* According to MiFID II requirements, all trades executed on the Moscow Exchange relate to OTC trades.

Reports on OTC trades with shares, ETF, ADR/GDR, and other funds included in the FIRDS list of assets should be sent by a service provider within a minute after execution.

The module automatically exports data on executed trades via Saturn API Web Services to the database of the EURONEXT exchange which is one of the authorized reporting service providers for this kind of reporting.

Operating Principle

  1. APA reports are generated for all OTC trades where the trade’s second party is a company registered beyond the EU jurisdiction. For trades between EU residents such reporting is done only by the sell-side party.

  2. After creating a trade (or sending a trade confirmation), backQORT automatically generates a request with all data required for the trade in JSON format and sends it by Saturn API. The module supports requests to register trades and to cancel their registration. The requests can be made in the backQORT terminal.

  1. backQORT requests for the result of the OTC trade registration and processes it at preset time interval. The information on all actions related to registration of such trades and on errors, when the service provider sends or processes the report, is saved in a special table. The system keeps changes of APA reports statuses.

Contracting

For APA reporting via EURONEXT, it is necessary to conclude an agreement with the service provider directly:
