16th annual seminar of ARQA Technologies took place in Moscow

On 13 February 2020 the annual seminar of ARQA Technologies took place in Moscow. More than 350 participants from 105 companies – clients and partners – attended the seminar which was dedicated to the twentieth anniversary of the company.

The seminar hosted an exhibition where the company’s partners – Bloomberg, DataSpace, FIS, QuantHouse, Interfax, and Saint-Petersburg Exchange – introduced their products and services.

The first part of the seminar was traditionally given to presentations of ARQA Technologies employees:

Two round tables were organized during the seminar. One of them, attended by representatives of five exchanges from four countries, was devoted to the latest exchange news and technological innovations as well as future plans of the exchanges:

The second round table was focused on traditional topics: opportunities, issues and challenges facing Russian brokerage business and the financial market IT industry. The speakers of this seminar part were persons famous in the financial industry who have been participating as experts in the ARQA Technologies’ seminar for a number of years: Irina Krivosheeva (Alfa-Capital), Roman Lokhov (BCS Global Markets), Mikhail Sukhobok (Raiffeisenbank), Vladimir Krekoten (Otkritie Broker), and Alexey Timofeev (NAUFOR).

To commemorate its anniversary, ARQA Technologies prepared for participants of the seminar a special guest appearance by a cosmonaut, Hero of the Russian Federation, Alexander Misurkin who performed two space flights to the International Space Station and has four spacewalks in his track record. His eloquent speech “Trust. Its Value in Space and on the Earth” accompanied by the author’s presentation and unique video was of a great interest and evoked a warm response among the audience.
