Interactive Brokers provides direct access to stocks, options, futures, currency pairs, bonds and funds on over 100 markets worldwide from a single account.

Module functions

From the IDEAL FX market the module transmits information on several dozens of the most demanded currency pairs.

The interface delivers the following information from the IDEAL FX market and CFE futures market:

  • static and dynamic parameters of instruments (Contract Details);
  • current parameters of instruments (Market Data Details);
  • quotes and order queues by selected instruments (Market Depth);
  • anonymized trades.

The data flow is transmitted over TCP/IP protocol.

Requesting and reception of data is done with the help of IBGateway utility-router which may be installed at the end-user’s location or remotely.

The interface software may be installed on the same PC as the QUIK server software.

If it is necessary to support trading operations the Interactive Brokers Market Data interface may be integrated with FIX order router for order routing into the trading system of an execution broker.
